Tools
for Changing Oil
As any good mechanic can tell you,
there are few worse experience than trying to work on a car without the
neccessary tools. To change the oil in your car you should have the following
basic tools:
Ramps |

*Wrench |

Funnel |
|
|
Drain pan (at least 6 quart capacity) |
|
|
Oil Filter Wrench |
|
|
In addition to these items there are
some others which are not absolutely necessary, but handy to have around:
Adjustable wrench |

|
Safety goggles |
|
|
Creeper |
|
|
Lots of rags |
|
|
For safety precautions, you should
have soapy water or waterless hand cleaners because prolonged skin contact
with used motor oil is harmful.
* The
size wrench depends on the size of the oil drain plug.
