Hello World Project Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in the ACM's Hello World Project. Before submiting an example, please take the following guidelines into account.

  1. Include the name of the program in the email's subject. We have hundreds of emails with "Hello World Project" on the subject line. Adding the programming language to the subject allow us to handle the submission more efficiently.

  2. Provide the link to the compiler (if applicable) and instructions for running the code. Before we post a submission, we want to be confident that the new programming language is functional. We might try to figure out how to run the code, but we will move on to the next submission if we are spending too much time on it.

  3. Please take note that your email will be posted along with your submission. We have been doing so since the beginning of our project. Please take this into account.
