comments:
·
A good teacher (the best I’ve
had this quarter, actually) & willing to learn from students.
·
The class is pretty good. I like
it. At the beginning I think it is little bit short of interaction between teacher
and student. But Latter I found it is really getting better. I learn a lot from
it.
·
Not bad, considering this is
1st time teaching. Too much Power Point & not enough free discussion.
·
Instructor well-organized, shows
desire and willingness to teach. Only weaknesses are lack of good English-sepeaking
skills and misspelling. However, these are minor, probably unavoidable (considering
instructor is not native English speaker), and I think the instructor did an
overall good job.
·
The lecture stuff can be hard
to study. A cool subject hosted on a CVS repository.
·
Something needs to be done to
kind of liven up the class or stimulate more interest. One idea we talked about
was integrating a large project with the chapters. For example, teach the chapter
about design, then show how lessons learned from the chapter can be applied
to the project.
·
You’re going to fit in here very
well. You still need to work on your teaching skills.
·
The material was covered very
rapidly making it hard to learn the complete context of the material.
·
Need to remind people of next
class’ assignments due.
·
Presentations were well done,
but the darkness of the room makes it hard to stay focused.

comments:
· A wonderful instructor. And you can be even better after you get more experience. It would be better if we get the slide hard copy before the class. I don't like the dark room.
· The 8 AM time slot combined with the "lights out" + PowerPoint format made nodding off unavoidable at times.
· Very good preparation for the class and well organized.
