HOMEWORK POLICY: Students are expected to keep up with daily
assignments taken from the Math 111 Assignment Sheet. Homework will be
collected at the beginning of each class. The three lowest scores for homework
assignments will be dropped at the end of the quarter. Graphing calculator usage
will be emphasized throughout the course and Texas Instruments’ TI-82 graphics
calculator will be used to illustrate and enhance the solution to many
algebraic problems. In order to follow along with the exposition and more
completely comprehend the assignments, the TI-82 is recommended.
EXAMINATIONS: There will 3 exams during the quarter and a
comprehensive final exam at the end of the qarter.
