Welcome to the web home of the Applied Biotechnology and Biosensor Laboratory The
Applied Biotechnology and Biosensor Laboratory is part of Louisiana Tech
University’s Biomedical Engineering Program and Center for Biomedical
Engineering and Rehabilitation Science (CBERS). The research programs of the Applied
Biotechnology and Biosensor Laboratory involve basic and applied research to
develop novel biotech and chemical technologies and biosensors. Primary Research Areas:
Thermoelectric DNA Sequencing, Thermoelectric DNA Probes, L-Glutamate
Sensing, Glucose Sensing, Microfluidics, Modeling and Simulation of
