The research programs of the Applied Biotechnology and Biosensor Laboratory involve basic and applied research to develop novel biotech and chemical technologies and biosensors. Primary Research Areas: Thermoelectric DNA Sequencing, Thermoelectric DNA Probes, L-Glutamate Sensing, Glucose Sensing, Microfluidics, Modeling and Simulation of Biological and Physiological Systems The Applied Biotechnology and Biosensor Lab is directed by Eric J. Guilbeau, Professor and Director of Biomedical Engineering and Watson Eminent Scholar Chair
