Teaching

Dr. Bardaweel teaches several engineering classes at Louisiana Tech University:

  • Nanosystem Devices and Modeling

    Class is offered by the Nanosystem Engineering Program here at LaTech. The class is cross listed for both senior and graduate students. The class introduces students to modeling technique for nano and microsystems. Dr. Bardaweel uses COMSOL as a modeling tool for his class. During the class students are exposed to micro and nanosystems and their working principle. Students are also exposed to modeling techniques encountered in miniaturized systems.

  • Fundamentals of Thermodynamics:

    Class deals with fundamental concept of conservation of energy, properties of pure substance, work, heat, first and second laws of thermodynamics, entropy, and cycle analysis. Class is offered for all engineering students.
