Aging Research Group Our group aims at clarifying causes of aging, an issue which has become increasingly important in our aging society, and at investigating the mechanisms of psychiatric disorders, for which appropriate treatments have yet to be developed. Our group will focus, in particular, on protein damage induced by oxidative and nitrative stress. Specifically, we are interested in Bio-microelectromechanical systems (Bio-MEMS) for developing systems for high throughput protein analysis. |
