Aging Research Group

Our group aims at clarifying causes of aging, an issue which has become increasingly important in our aging society, and at investigating the mechanisms of age-related neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease. Our group will focus, in particular, on protein damage induced by oxidative and nitrative stress. Also, we are interested in Bio-microelectromechanical systems  (Bio-MEMS) for developing systems for high throughput protein analysis.
