I am an Assistant Professor in the Industrial Engineering program at Louisiana Tech University. I received my B.S. in applied mathematics and my M.S. In industrial and systems engineering from the University of Shahid Beheshti and the University of Tehran, respectively. I received my Ph.D. in industrial engineering from the University of Arkansas. My primary research interest is in sequential decision making under uncertainty, with applications in medical decision making and maintenance optimization. I am also interested in statistical analysis of complex data especially within the area of healthcare.

I am currently looking for a motivated Ph.D. student to join my team. If you are interested, please email a recent copy of your CV to madadi(at)latech.edu.
