Catalog Description: MEEN 351: Computer-Aided Modeling. 3-1-2. Preq., Cumulative GPA >= 2.0 on Math 240 through Math 244. Construction of virtual systems models using constructive solid geometry, swept volumes, and trimmed parametric surfaces with engineering applications.

Textbook: Engineering Design Communication and Modeling Using Unigraphics NX by Gang Qi, Thompson Delmar Learning,  ISBN: 1-4180-1149-5.

Course Policies: All of my standard course policies apply to MEEN 351. Be sure to read them. Additionally, each student must provide a USB flash memory storage device for storing model files. All files saved on laboratory computer hard disks are subject to deletion at any time. Please do not save NX part files on the hard disk of laboratory computers. You may wish to save your part files on your network E: drive, but network storage space is limited. Always keep copies of your part files on your personal removable drive. It is your responsibility to maintain your own file backups. Losing a data file because of a computer malfunction is not a valid excuse for late or missing assignments.
