Crews Research Laboratory

Our research is directed toward the development of miniaturized medical equipment. We integrate microfluidic technologies with sound thermodynamic principles and biological methods. Our diagnostic instruments will be used by emergency responders and personalized care givers in developed and developing countries.

We have recently added a series of short video tutorials under the Presentations tab that introduce the areas of our past and current work.

You will find videos on such topics as microfluidic PCR, integrated DNA analysis, and the low-cost high-quality fabrication technique of Xurography.

We are also sharing the MATLAB GUI files that we created for high resolution spatial DNA melting analysis.

Be sure to check back often, as we are continuing to update our tutorial library.
