Amen Alemayehu
Amen is from Virginia
Commonwealth University. She worked with Dr. Jones on the development
of a novel hemoglobin-based sensor for nitric oxide measurements.
Kevin Alley
Kevin Alley is from Harvey
Mudd College. He worked with Dr. Sandra Selmic
on the development of polymer-based light-emitting diodes.
Wakeel Idewu
Wakeel is from the University
of Louisiana at Lafayette. He worked with Dr. Kuila
on a catalytic system for removal of aromatic hydrocarbons in drinking water.
Kelly Dockendorf
Kelly is from the University
of Minnesota. She worked with Dr. McShane
on the use of patterned substrates for the growth of smooth muscle cells.
Johathan Drew
Jonathan is from North Carolina
State University. He worked with Dr. Haynie
on novel methods for biocompatible microencapsulation.
Jacqueline Leis
Jacqueline is from Bucknell University. She worked with Dr. Lvov on delayed-release
drug microencapsulation.

Nguyen
Viet is from Louisiana Tech.
He worked with Dr. Cui on polymer-based microelectronics.
Hsin-I Peng
Hsin worked with Dr. Mills on the
testing of Layer-by-Layer coatings as substrates for cell culture.
Christopher Pulliam
Christopher is from Case
Western Reserve University. He worked with Dr. Sahin
on the development of FLAMES – light activated elements for neural stimulation.
Lester Smith
Lester is from Louisiana Tech. He worked with Dr. Hegab on the development
of microchannel-based on-chip electronic cooling
methods.
