For an ice cream cake with two layers of cake and two layers of ice
cream, you will need approximately the following:- One-half gallon of your favorite ice cream
- One box of your favorite cake mix
- eggs
- oil
- water
- Frosting
- Two eight or nine inch round pans
- Whisk or electric mixer
- Measuring utensils
- Candles, sprinkles, or other decorations
- Cake pan
