Place the bow tie around your neck and have one end a few
inches longer than the other.

Cross the long end over the short one.

Bring it under and
up through the loop.

Double the short end back over itself at the wide part to
form one loop.

Bring the long end down over the loop in the short end.

Holding everything together, double the long end at the wide
spot to form the second loop, and push it, folded end first, through the
loop behind the tie.

Adjust the tie by pulling the ends and arranging the center
knot.
