Full Windsor Knot

  1. Start by raising the collar and placing the tie around your neck with the wide end on your dominant side and two to three times the length of the short end. The short end stays in place, and the directions are for moving the long end.
  2. Go over the short end and under and up through the "v" below the neck. Now the wide end should be on the non-dominate side.(Fig.1)
  3. Go under the short end.
  4. Go up and over, turning down through the loop at the neck and bring out on the non-dominant side.(Fig.2)

  5. Bring across in front and under and up through the loop at the neck.(Fig.3)

  6. Go down through the loop formed across the front.

  7. Gently pull on the wide end and shape the knot.  Pull on the short end as you push the knot up to the collar.
