Sumegha earned her Ph.D. in November 2020 in Engineering with micro and Nanoscale Engineering concentration. She received her bachelor's and master's degree in chemical engineering. She is currently working as visiting professor at Grambling State University in the chemistry department. During her PhD, she worked on the Modelling of pure and bimetallic transition metal catalyst nanoclusters using density functional theory. Sumegha is a postdoc at the Institute for Micromanufacturing working with block copolymer grafted nanoparticle simulations. She likes hiking and travelling in her free time.
